Webtoon 'True Beauty' set for film adaptation

Webtoon “True Beauty,” which has been viewed over 5.1 billion times globally, will be made into an animated film, according to Naver Webtoon on Wednesday.
Studio N, a subsidiary of Naver Webtoon, and Cocktail Media, which is behind the hit animation series “The Haunted House” from 2016, will co-produce the new film based on the series that started in 2018.
“True Beauty” is about a high school student chasing after her dreams who gains more confidence as she starts wearing make-up. The webtoon has been translated into many other languages including English, Spanish, Thai and French.
