Boom, Key, Yuna to host 2021 SBS Gayo Daejeon

The upcoming 2021 SBS Gayo Daejeon will be hosted by Boom, SHINee’s Key and ITZY’s Yuna, the broadcasting company announced Wednesday.

The upcoming annual televised music festival on SBS will be held under the theme “Welcome,” as “singers and fans will be able to gather together with their love for music after making it through this non-contact phase of the pandemic.”

The broadcasting company said Boom was selected as a host “for the smooth hosting skills he showed last year.” As for Key, the company said his talents in various fields including his solo music career, entertainment programs and the fashion industry attracted them. Yuna has also “proven her talent in hosting music programs in SBS’s Ingigayo.”

The 2021 Gayo Daejeon will air live at 6 p.m. on Dec. 25.
