Netflix Korea’s series “Hellbound” (2021) ranked first on American film and television review website Rotten Tomatoes’ “Best Horror Series 2021,” according to Netfl ix on Monday.

넷플릭스 코리아의 2021년작 드라마 “지옥”이 미국 영화ㆍ텔레비전 비평 사이트 로튼 토마토에서 “2021 베스트 호러 시리즈” 1위에 올랐다고 넷플릭스가 월요일에 밝혔다.
With a critic's rating of 97 percent, the series took the top spot for the horror series genre at the “Golden Tomato Awards” announced annually by the website. There is no actual ceremony.
“지옥”은 평론가 평가지수 97%로 로튼 토마토가 매년 발표하는 “골든 토마토 어워즈”의 호러 장르에서 1위를 차지했다. 실제 시상식이 열리지는 않는다.
“Summoned by the devilish imagination of writer-director Yeon Sang-ho, 'Hellbound' leverages its terrifying concept to thoughtfully explore human fallibility,” reads the critique on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Hellbound” tells the story of people suddenly being visited by mysterious messengers who damn them to hell, a cult that arises amid the chaos and those who try to figure out the mystery.

The series stars actors Yoo Ah-in, Kim Hyunjoo and Park Jeong-min. It also debuted in the No. 1 spot on Netfl ix’s list of most-viewed TV shows upon its release in November 2021.
