With over 1.8 billion views, Blackpink's "Ddu-du Ddu-du" became the most-watched K-pop music video on YouTube as of Tuesday.  
  
“It is the first time that a K-pop group’s music video garnered 1.8 billion views,” said the group’s agency YG Entertainment. “At this rate, we believe that the video’s views will reach the 2 billion mark soon.”
 
The music video of "Ddu-du Ddu-du" was released on June 15, 2018.  
 
"Ddu-du Ddu-du" is the lead track on the girl group’s first EP “Square Up” which consists of three other songs — “Forever Young,” “Really,” and “See U Later.”
 
Soon after the release of "Ddu-du Ddu-du," the song saw international success, ranking 55th on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.   
 
Blackpink now has five music videos with over 1 billion views — "How You Like That” (2020) with 1 billion views, “Kill This Love” (2019) with 1.5 billion views, “Boombayah” (2016) with 1.3 billion views and “As If It’s Your Last” (2017) with 1.1 billion views, along with "Ddu-du Ddu-du."
 
The group has 32 videos which have surpassed 100 million views while the number of accumulated views amounts to 22.3 billion. The number of subscribers to the girl group's official YouTube channel is over 71.8 million, making Blackpink the most subscribed to artist on the platform.
