Girl group Billlie, which was set to perform some of its songs on its second EP tomorrow, decided to cancel the showcase after one of its members — Siyoon — tested positive for Covid-19. The EP titled “the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one” will still drop as scheduled, at 6 p.m. on Feb. 23.

“Siyoon took a test at home on Monday and it came out positive so she went straight out to get a PCR test, which also came back positive this morning,” the girl group’s label Mystic Story said in a statement on Tuesday.

Mystic Story said Siyoon received two shots of a vaccine and does not have any symptoms. She will be treated at home.

The seven-member girl group debuted in November last year with the EP “the Billage of perception: chapter one.” It’s Mystic Story’s first girl group. The group started off with six members, but after Mnet’s music survival program “Girls Planet 999” (2021) ended, member Sheon joined the group.

Billlie is comprised of Siyoon, Tsuki, Sheon, Suhyeon, Haram, Moon Sua and Haruna. The name of the group represents that “anyone can have an inner ego to express their B-side.”

Oh My Girl member Hyojung also tested positive today while BTS’s V finished  his quarantine after testing positive on Feb. 15.
