Junyoung, a former member of boy band ZE:A, was charged with drunk driving, according to the Gangnam Police Station on Tuesday.

Junyoung, whose legal name is Moon Jun-young, was pulled over around 1:46 a.m. on Monday in Gangnam District, southern Seoul.

Moon had been driving on the wrong side of the road when he got into a dispute with another driver. While arguing, the other driver smelled alcohol on Moon and called the police.

When the police arrived on the scene, Moon’s blood alcohol concentration level was well over 0.08 percent, which qualifies for revocation of a person’s driver's license.

Moon has been caught drunk driving before and had his driver’s license revoked in 2018.

Moon debuted as the leader of ZE:A in 2010 then left the group’s agency in 2017. He continued a career in the music industry as an EDM DJ. He also established an entertainment agency called the Super Member's Entertainment (previously named EXAentertainment) and became CEO in 2020. He since stepped down from that role. Moon completed his 18-month mandatory military service in January.
