Boy band T1419 made its official debut in Japan on Wednesday, releasing a Japanese EP titled “Our Teen:Blue Side.”
The EP, according to the band’s label MLD Entertainment, is about “a confused yet pure and transparent youth.” It has seven tracks including the Japanese language title track “Run Up.” Three of the seven tracks are Japanese while the rest are Korean. The Korean songs are: “Asurabalbalta,” “Exit,” “Flex” and “Red Light, Green Light.”
T1419’s four Japanese members, Leo, Zero, Kairi and Kio left for Japan on March 5 to promote the band ahead of its debut, according to MLD Entertainment. The band also has five Korean members — Noa, Sian, Kevin, Gunwoo and On. T1419 debuted in Korea in January 2021 with the digital single, “Before Sunrise Part. 1.”
To prepare for its Japanese debut, T1419 launched an official Japanese fanclub last November and has been creating content such as the “T1419 Edelhouse” video series, which began airing on various Japanese video platforms on Jan. 18.
