Enigmatic Bears survive offseason without major losses

The Doosan Bears lost a number of key players over the last few years and those cracks started to show last season.

Yet despite that, the Bears still surged up the table at the end of the season and made it to the Korean Series for a seventh year in a row.

Whether they can manage to defy the odds again this season remains to be seen.

The Bears lost Park Kun-woo during the offseason, but managed to keep hold of pretty much everybody else.

Fan-favorite slugger Jose Fernandez returns, as does 2021 KBO MVP ace Ariel Miranda. Veteran fireballer Robert Stock joins the Seoul club to complete the pitching roster.
