Jin to limit dancing at BTS Las Vegas concert following surgery

Jin of boy band BTS will only be able to perform the choreography for some numbers during the boy band’s upcoming Las Vegas concert after undergoing surgery on his finger last month, the group's agency Big Hit Music said Friday.

“Last month, Jin damaged part of his left index finger’s tendons and underwent surgery,” announced Big Hit Music on Friday via fan community platform Weverse. “Since he is currently still recovering, medical professionals advised that too much movement or shock runs the risk of requiring a reoperation.

BTS is set to hold four concerts in Las Vegas on April 8, 9, 15 and 16. Jin will participate but will only dance for some songs.

During the 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday, also held in Las Vegas, Jin remained seated during BTS’s performance of “Butter” (2021).

“Although Jin shows a strong willingness to participate [fully] in the concert, we decided to adhere to medical professionals’ advice and minimize Jin’s movement during the four runs of concerts.”
