"I'll Be There" by BTS's Jin broke the singer's personal record on the British Official Singles Top 100 chart on Friday by landing at No. 44.
His previous solo single, "The Astronaut," had climbed to No. 61 on the chart in 2022 upon release.
On Spotify, the song currently sits at No. 27 on the streaming platform's Weekly Top Song Global chart, with data accumulated from Oct. 25 to 31.
"I'll Be There" is a prerelease, part of his new album "Happy." Scheduled for release on Nov. 15, “Happy” will “share Jin’s honest thoughts on happiness and convey his warm feelings toward ARMY, BTS’s fan base," according to his agency BigHit Music.
The lead track, "Running Wild," is a British rock-inspired pop-rock song with an uplifting and hopeful message about running breathlessly toward hope.
To celebrate the album's release, a special fan showcase, “Jin 'Happy' Special Stage,” is set to take place on Nov. 16 and 17 at Jangchung Arena in central Seoul.
