Gaeko ropes in his wife to perform on 'Little Treasure'

Rapper Gaeko of the hip-hop group Dynamic Duo will collaborate with his wife Kim Su-mi on a new song, agency Amoeba Culture said Friday.

The English title of the song is “Little Treasure” and it will be released on May 3.

Kim, who married the rapper in 2011, was featured on past Dynamic Duo songs “Baaam” (2013) and “2040” (2019) and on Gaeko’s solo single “Send Me Your Pictures” (2016).

“The new single is about family and love, and Gaeko focused on trying to genuinely convey these messages through this song,” Amoeba Culture said in a statement.

“Little Treasure” is the fourth song in Gaeko’s Gaejaksil Project, in which he releases self-produced singles. The previous songs are “Vacation” (2018), “Cold” (2020) and “I Feel Like” (2021).

Gaeko debuted in 2000 in a hip-hop group called CB Mass, but joined Dynamic Duo in 2004. The duo consists of Gaeko and rapper Choiza and has had hits “Go Back” (2005), “Guilty” (2011) and “Without You” (2012).
