Boy band GOT7 [ILGAN SPORTS]

Boy band GOT7 [ILGAN SPORTS]

Boy band GOT7 will meet its fans in person through a fan concert in May, according to Warner Music Korea on Tuesday.

"GOT7 Homecoming 2022 FanCon" will be held May 21 and 22 at SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Songpa District, southern Seoul. The second day of the offline concert will be streamed live.

During the event, the band is expected to perform new songs from its upcoming EP "GOT7." “GOT7” is expected to drop on May 23.

It is the GOT7's first music in a year and three months since its digital single “Encore” was released in February 2021. In terms of physical albums, the last was released in November 2020.

The band’s members went their separate ways last year after their contracts with JYP Entertainment ended. However, they stipulated that the team itself did not disband and they will continue to be active as a group.

GOT7 debuted in 2014 with the EP “Got it?” and consists of seven members: Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam and Yugyeom. They gained popularity both in Korea and overseas with hit songs such as “A” (2014), “Just Right” (2015), “If You Do” (2015) and “Hard Carry” (2016).
