New MLD Entertainment girl group Lapillus to debut in June

MLD Entertainment’s new K-pop girl group Lapillus will make its debut in June, the agency said on Monday. The agency is known for girl group Momoland and boy band T1419.  
 
The agency also revealed the logo for Lapillus on Monday.
 
This is MLD’s first girl group to debut in six years, since Momoland. 
 
According to the agency, the girl group includes former “Girls Planet 999” (2021) contestant Nonaka Shana, who is Japanese, and Filipina-Argentinian singer Chantal Videla. Videla goes by the stage name Chanty and is also an actor.  
 
Other members of the upcoming girl group are yet to be announced.
