Alleged victim of Kim Ga-ram threatens to release evidence of bullying

The alleged victim of bullying by Le Sserafim member Kim Ga-ram said she will reveal evidence to prove her claims are true if HYBE continues to maintain Kim is innocent.

Daeryun, the law firm representing the alleged victim, said Thursday that their client does not want anything from Kim or her agency HYBE, except an apology and a new statement. The current statement claims Kim was the one who was a victim of malicious rumors and cyber bullying during her time in middle school.
“All we ask for is an apology and an accurate statement to be released,” the law firm said. “However, HYBE did not respond to any of our requests and Kim debuted as a girl group member while the victim is suffering psychologically.”

Daeryun said the victim attempted suicide due to extreme anxiety and fear.

According to the law firm, Le Sserafim fans have been criticizing the victim online and HYBE has failed to respond to the situation “making her condition worse.”

“She had to stop going to school and is seeing a psychiatrist. Her mother has to keep an eye on her daughter twenty-four-seven so that she does not attempt suicide once again,” Daeryun said.

“That is why we will disclose all the official school documents and all the text messages sent by Kim that include abusive language if HYBE continues to maintain its stance that Kim is the victim,” Daeryun continued.

An alleged image of an official school document showing that Kim was the perpetrator of school violence started circulating online Monday.

The document shows that a committee was called to deal with a case of school violence and recommends measures to deal with the offender, listed as “Grade 1 Class 3 Kim Ga-ram.”

Kim, who debuted as a member of girl group Le Sserafim earlier this month, has been dealing with accusations of bullying since last month. Her agency Source Music, an affiliate of HYBE, has been denying the allegations and claiming that Kim was the one who was bullied.
