Song Ji-ah, a controversial beauty YouTuber who went off the grid this January, was spotted volunteering via an Instagram post on the account of Catholic House of Love and Peace, a charity that makes and delivers meals for residents in low income neighborhoods near Seoul Station in central Seoul.

The charity uploaded pictures of Song and Kang Ye-won on Thursday with a comment that the duo come once every month to volunteer in the kitchen. Kang is an actor and co-CEO of management agency Hyowon CNC which represents Song.

“We hope that everything works out for them and hope that [they] continue to positively influence [society],” the organization wrote.

In the pictures, Song and Kang, both wearing caps and masks, are seen making side dishes.

Song Ji-ah, who shot to global stardom after appearing in Netflix’s hit dating reality series “Single’s Inferno,” came under fire for wearing knock-off designer items on the series as well as in her YouTube videos. After facing criticism, Song uploaded a video apologizing and turned her videos private.

Her YouTube channel, FreeZia, had over 1.9 million subscribers before she went private.
