Boy band TO1 (pronounced T-O-one) will return with new music next month, along with a new lineup of members, its agency Wakeone Entertainment said Friday.

Members Minsu, Jerome and Woonggi had decided to leave the band and Renta, Daigo and Yeojeong have joined.

Renta and Daigo each ranked No. 13 and No. 16 in season two of the Japanese spin-off of Mnet’s K-pop competition show “Produce 101” series — “Produce 101 Japan” in 2021.

Yeojeong is the newest and youngest member of TO1.

The three former members still remain with Wakeone Entertainment.

With the new lineup, the members have “looked back at the past two years it spent as a band and spent time figuring out the best path for its future,” Wakeone said. “Please send your support to the previous members who are now preparing for a new beginning and also the new TO1 members.”

TO1 debuted in 2020 with 10 members and the EP “Reason for Being: Benovelence.” Chihoon left last month as his contract was terminated. The band was formed by Mnet’s competition program “To Be World Klass” in 2019.
