“Yet To Come,” the lead track on BTS’s latest album “Proof,” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excluding U.S. chart, according to Billboards’ latest chart unveiled Tuesday.

The song also entered the Billboard’s Hot 100 main singles chart, debuting at No. 13. “Run BTS,” another track on the same album, ranked at 73rd on the cart.

According to Big Hit Music, "Yet To Come," produced by Pdogg, is a medium-tempo alternative hip-hop song. It attempts to reflect BTS’s past and present while also looking into the future as the band celebrates its ninth anniversary this year. Members RM, Suga and J-Hope have participated in writing and composing the song.

The song is BTS’s record-extending third No. 1 on Hot Trending Songs, which began last October with “Butter,” which stayed 20 weeks on top, and “Permission to Dance,” which held the spot for one week.

Including the two songs, a total of 25 BTS songs have charted on the Hot 100, including “Butter” (2021), “Life Goes On“ (2020), “Permission to Dance” (2021), “Dynamite” (2020), “Savage Love” (2020) and “My Universe” (2021).

Despite the band's possible hiatus, the album “Proof” started on top of the Billboard 200 main albums chart for this week. It sold 314,000 copies in the United States. Billboard added that most of the sales were of physical copies of the album.

This is the boy band’s sixth album to top the Billboard 200, following “Love Yourself: Tear”(2018), “Love Yourself: Answer” (2018), “Map of the Soul: Persona” (2019), “Map of the Soul: 7” (2020) and “Be” (2020). The latest to join the list, “Proof” is an anthology album that encompasses BTS’s nine-year career in three CDs.

BTS debuted in 2013 and consists of seven members — J-Hope, RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook. The group recently made headlines after stating in a YouTube video, uploaded on June 14, that the seven members will now be pursuing solo ventures while putting a pause on group activities.
