FATION Aqua Biome Toner Pads effectively hydrate and soothe irritated skin during the summer [Dong-A ST]

FATION Aqua Biome Toner Pads launched by Dong-A Pharmaceutical is being highlighted as an essential skincare product for this summer.

The hypo-allergic product boasts a 0.00 stimulus index, soothing irritated skin during the summer.

Summer skincare routines are particularly important. Ultraviolet rays from the summer’s scorching sunlight irritates the skin, increasing sebum, the oily, waxy substance produced by the skin, and widening pores. Sebum accumulates within the pores, creating skin conditions like acne.

A common skincare method is to wipe the skin with a cotton pad with toner on it. This widely-used method has developed into a stand-along product, toner pads, or cotton pads that are pre-treated with toner. The significance of such toner pads is already well-recognized among Korean beauty fans for their gentle application for those with sensitive skin.

According to CJ Olive Young, a Korean Health & Beauty store, toner pads sales have increased by about 30 percent on-year, every year for the past three years.

FATION Aqua Biome Toner Pads are among Dong-A Pharmaceutical’s dermatological cosmetic brands with mild formulas that maintain the skin’s pH balance. The product is hypo-allergic for all skin types and thus good for everyday use in summer.

The product uses OEKO-TEX Standard 100 class 1 confirmed cotton pads, which effectively remove sebum and dirt while minimizing stimulation through the smooth and sterilized pads. The pads are made from pure cotton and work well with the toner, which includes patent micro biomes and hyaluronic acids. The combination of the two elements helps rejuvenate and restructure skin that has been exposed to extreme heat in the summer.

“This year’s summer heat is expected to be more severe than ever,” Dong-A Pharmaceutical said in a statement. “Accordingly, there exists significant concerns regarding the possible skin disorders aroused by excessive production of sebum.”
