Girl group Nmixx’s debut EP “Ad Mare” was streamed over 100 million times on Spotify, according to the global streaming site.

“Ad Mare” was released in February and includes songs “O.O” and “占 (TANK).”

“O.O” means the exclamation “Oh!” and also depicts someone whose eyes are wide open in awe. The song received criticism from the public for being “abstruse” upon its release.

“占 (TANK)” is about Nmixx’s advance into the world and its ambition to “take over,” likened to a military tank. The Chinese character 占 means “to seize or capture” and has been used as the song’s title because it looks like an actual tank.

Nmixx is composed of seven members — Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin. Apart from Lily who is Korean-Australian, all members are Korean.

The group is set to drop a remake version of girl group Rainbow’s song “Kiss” (2009) on July 31.
