Comedian Park Na-rae will receive surgery for a cruciate ligament injury, JDB Entertainment said Friday.

“Park Na-rae was filming for a commercial when she got involved in an accident in which her cruciate ligament was ruptured to the point that it requires surgery,” the agency said.

“Currently we are adjusting her shooting schedules and we will do our best to aid Park’s recovery.”

Park is a regular on variety shows including MBC’s “I Live Alone” (2013-) and “Where is My Home” (2019-), tvN’s “The Must-Try Restaurants” (2022-) and JTBC’s “World Dark Tour” (2022-).

She debuted in 2006 as a comedian under KBS and was known for doing sketches on KBS’s “Gag Concert” (1999-2020) dressed as other celebrities like actor Ma Dong-seok or basketball player Michael Jordan.
