Girl group Blackpink will release its second full-length album on Sept. 16.
 
YG Entertainment made the announcement on Wednesday by releasing a teaser image on its official blog.
 
“Please look forward to the album, which consists of songs that match Black Pink’s unique identity and style,” the label said.
 
Blackpink will release “Pink Venom” ahead of the album as a digital single on Aug. 19. The song is included in the new album.
 
On Tuesday, YG Entertainment announced that the girl group will hold a world tour to promote the new album from Oct. 15.
 
A total of 36 performances for the concert "Born Pink" have been announced so far.
 
"Born Pink" will kick off in Seoul and continue to 25 more cities including Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, London, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi, Jakarta, Manila, Melbourne and Sydney.
 
Blackpink’s last music was its full-length album “The Album,” which was released in October 2020.
