Actor Han So-hee to resume filming of 'Gyeongseong Creature' after injury

Actor Han So-hee will return to the set of the currently filming tvN drama series “Gyeongseong Creature” after suffering a minor facial injury while shooting an action scene on Aug. 3.
“Han is planning to return to the set of ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ after next week,” her agency 9-Ato Entertainment said. “A specific date as to when she will begin filming again will be adjusted accordingly based on how fast her wound heals. Thankfully, she did not have to go through surgery [...] But there are still bruises around her eyes.”
On Aug. 8, in a Kakao chat room with her fans, Han assured that she was fine and uploaded a selfie of herself with one eye covered.
“I’ve been resting at home, spending some quality time by myself and drawing,” she said. “It’s been a while since I’ve done that. I am just visiting briefly for my fans who would have been surprised by the news. I’ll come back again when I have some other news to update.”
Han is known for her passion for action and has received praise for her depiction of tough girl Ji-woo in Netflix’s “My Name” (2021).
“Gyeongseong Creature” is a thriller that takes place in the spring of 1945, when Gyeongseong, the old name for Seoul, was in its darkest era. Park Seo-joon also stars in the series. It is set to air on tvN next year.
Han debuted in 2017 and rose to stardom through the JTBC series “The World of the Married” (2020). She went on to star in JTBC’s “Nevertheless” (2021) and Disney+ original “Soundtrack #1.”
