IVE looks for its third hit with new EP 'After LIKE'

Girl group IVE is looking for a three-in-a-row megahit as it releases its new EP "After LIKE" on Monday.

According to the girl group’s agency Starship Entertainment, “After LIKE” is a continuation of IVE’s previous lead track “Love Dive” released in April, which sang about the courage to “dive into love.”

“After LIKE” will also convey a theme of elegance and self-love, a concept that the girl group is known for.

The title track “After LIKE” is based on electronic dance music and house, with an “extravagant ambience fit for the late summer,” said Starship. It also added that the B-side track “My Satisfaction” is a number with a heavy, majestic beat.

IVE member Rei and rapper Mommy Son participated in writing the rap lyrics for “After LIKE.”

IVE debuted in December 2021 with members Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo. After releasing hit songs “Eleven” (2021) and “Love Dive” (2022), the group skyrocketed to be considered one of the most successful fourth-generation K-pop acts.
