Netflix Korea announced Friday that its new series “Glitch” starring actors Jeon Yeo-been and Nana, will premiere on Oct. 7.

“Glitch” has been highly anticipated since the early stages of its production as the creators of the hit Netflix series “Extracurricular” (2020) revealed they’ll team up once again for the upcoming series.

According to Netflix Korea, “Glitch” tells the story of a girl named Hong Ji-hyo, who tries to track down her missing boyfriend with the help of the members of a UFO club.

“Gin Han-sai, who enthralled audiences and critics with the much-lauded Netflix series ‘Extracurricular,' will once again keep viewers surprised with his bold writing style and keen insight,” Netflix Korea said. “In the upcoming series, Gin unravels an intriguing and intense story about members of a UFO club who pursue those who disappear in a mysterious beam of light. Their special quest, which seems preposterous to society at large, is told within the framework of a suspenseful comic thriller.”

The casting of the two actors is also heightening the anticipation.

Jeon quickly made her way into the mainstream with her skillful acting. She debuted in the 2015 historical fiction film "The Treacherous,” and was much hailed for her performances in the independent film "After My Death" (2017) and film noir “Night in Paradise” (2020). She was then featured in Netfix film “Night in Paradise” (2020) and tvN drama series "Vincenzo" (2021).

Former After School member Nana successfully transitioned to acting in 2016, playing a supporting role in the drama series “The Good Wife,” as well as KBS drama series “The Ballot” (2020) and MBC’s “Oh! My Ladylord” (2021).
