Girl group IVE to participate in Spotify Holiday Singles project

Girl group IVE is participating in this year’s year-end Spotify Holiday Singles project. The girl group’s label Starship Entertainment announced on Wednesday that the group is releasing “After LIKE (Holiday Remix)" as part of the project. The song became available only on Spotify at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

“After LIKE” is the title track of IVE’s third EP, which was released in August.

The Holiday Singles project sees Spotify work with artists to release new holiday tracks, as well as covers of Christmas classics, toward the year’s end.

Last year, it included global artists for the first time. Singer Lee Hi was the first Korean artist and the only Asian act to be featured in last year’s Spotify Holiday Singles project. Previous artists who have participated in the project include Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, Sam Smith, Demi Lovato, Julien Baker and John Legend.

IVE debuted in December 2021 with members Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo. After releasing hit songs “Eleven” (2021) and “Love Dive” (2022), the group are now one of the most successful fourth-generation K-pop acts.
