Girl group Le Sserafim topped the monthly Global K-pop Chart of Circle Chart with its single “Antifragile.”
According to Circle Chart, it’s the first time for a girl group or a boy band who debuted this year to top the Global K-pop Chart.
“Antifragile” also topped the weekly Global K-pop Chart from Nov. 27 to Dec. 3, maintaining the No. 1 place for five consecutive weeks.
The song and the EP of the same title is rewriting the history of K-pop in global music scene. The EP climbed to No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart, a feat considering the fact the girl group only debuted in May. The single “Antifragile” also garnered a cumulative 100 million streams on Spotify.
The girl group is expected to take to the stage for the “2022 Asia Artist Awards in Japan” next Tuesday.
