Footballer Cho Gue-sung to appear in episode of 'You Quiz on the Block'

Korean national football player Cho Gue-sung will appear in a future episode of tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block” (2018-), according to local reports Friday.

His appearance has been confirmed and is currently setting a schedule for the shoot.

Cho’s popularity has been skyrocketing since scoring multiple goals during Korea’s match against Ghana at the Qatar World Cup, and for his physical appearance.

He had some 20,000 followers on Instagram before the World Cup began, but now he has over 2.7 million.

“You Quiz on the Block” is hosted by entertainers Yu Jae-seok and Cho Sae-ho where they chat with and quiz celebrities, professors or experts in their respective professional fields.

An upcoming episode set to air on Dec. 14 will feature Son Woong-jung, father of star footballer Son Heung-min.
