YG Entertainment teases a new girl group

The teaser for YG Entertainment's upcoming girl group [YG ENTERTAINMENT]

YG Entertainment announced Friday that it will debut a new girl group.

It posted on its social media channels a poster with the words “YG Next Movement” and the date “2023.01.01 0AM.”

The poster shows the silhouettes of seven girls, but no names have been unveiled.

It has been around seven years since YG launched a girl group, the last being Blackpink.

Blackpink is one of the K-pop industry’s most successful acts, continuously breaking records. The quartet is currently in the middle of its “Born Pink” world tour promoting its second full-length album of the same name.
