JYP donates 100 million won to National Cancer Center Foundation

JYP Entertainment signed an agreement with the National Cancer Center Foundation to help support medical expenses of children and teenage cancer patients, the agency announced Tuesday. 
 
Chief Financial Officer of JYP Entertainment David Byun and Seo Hong-gwan, Director of the National Cancer Center signed a business agreement on Tuesday with JYP Entertainment agreeing to donate 100 million won ($73,500) to the foundation.  
 
The donation will be used to fund medical expenses including surgery fees.  
 
“We thank JYP Entertainment for joining our journey in battling cancer [...] We find it significant that the agreement can raise awareness of overcoming and combatting cancer to the artists of JYP Entertainment and the fans of JYP Entertainment,” said director Seo in a press release.
