All three sub-groups of boy band NCT will come together to hold their first stadium tour in Korea and Japan, their agency SM Entertainment announced Wednesday.

NCT, with a total of 20 band members, is divided into three sub-groups, NCT 127, NCT Dream and WayV. Album releases and group activities are usually conducted within each sub-group.

The concert will kick off at the Incheon Munhak Stadium in Incheon on August 26, followed by performances at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai, Osaka, on Sept. 9 and 10 and in Ajinomoto Stadium, Tokyo on Sept. 16 and 17.

It will be the first time the three sub-groups hold an offline concert. They held an online concert “NCT: Resonance” back in 2020.

Themed the “performance that everyone can enjoy, inside NCT’s world,” the tour will feature performances by individual sub-groups, NCT U performances and performances that all NCT members will join.

NCT 127, named after Seoul’s longitude, is the band’s sub-group based in Seoul whereas WayV is the band’s sub-unit that targets the Chinese regions. NCT Dream consists of seven younger members of the boy band, while NCT U is the boy band’s sub-unit with flexible member compositions.

It hasn’t been announced whether NCT Tokyo, the band’s planned last sub-group based in Japan, will join the upcoming tour.

SM Entertainment announced on May 24 Sungchan and Shotaro will be leaving NCT to join the agency’s new boy band which plans to debut this year.
