The boy band’s agency told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Friday that the venue and the dates for the upcoming event are yet to be confirmed.
“After [ZB1’s] debut, we are preparing an event where the band can meet ZE_ROSE. Details about the upcoming event, including dates and location will be released after it has been confirmed,” the boy band’s agency Wake One Entertainment said Friday.
ZE_ROSE is the boy band’s fandom name.
Gocheok Sky Dome, located in Guro District, Western Seoul, is an indoor baseball stadium that has also been used by K-pop and foreign artists as a concert venue. With the stadium able to hold around 25,000 people, singers such as Psy, Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, Katy Parry and boy bands EXO, BTS, BigBang, Wanna One and X1 have all held concerts and showcases at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
ZeroBaseOne is a nine-member project group that was formed through cable network Mnet's audition program, "Boys Planet." The nine members — Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gun-wook, Kim Tae-rae, Kim Gyu-vin, Kim Ji-woong and Han Yu-jin — will work for two and a half years starting July 10 under Wake One Entertainment, a CJ ENM subsidiary.
The band's name refers to the "splendid beginning of the nine members starting from zero, who came into one group," according to the agency.
"Boys Planet," a sequel to Mnet's 2021 girl group audition program "Girls Planet 999" (2021), started airing on Feb. 2 and aired 12 episodes in total. The 12-week journey saw 98 contestants perform in group missions and get eliminated by viewers' votes each week.
ZeroBaseOne is set to drop its debut EP “Youth in the Shade” on July 10.
