Comedian Shin Dong-yup in Coupang Play's "SNL" [COUPANG PLAY]

 
Comedian Shin Dong-yup signed with CP Entertainment, a subsidiary of Coupang, on Monday.
 
The Korean e-commerce giant announced that it recently established the entertainment agency company on the same day. Shin is the first artist revealed to be part of CP Entertainment.
 
Shin was previously signed under SM C&C.
 
"We will make sure to support our artists so that they are able to fully focus on their activities," Choi Jong-wook, CEO of the agency, said. Choi has worked with Shin for 17 years.
 
“We anticipate that CP Entertainment will contribute to producing and releasing the best Korean content among the local industry," Coupang Play said in a press release. Coupang Play is the over-the-top streaming service owned and operated by Coupang.
 
Shin debuted as a comedian in 1991 and has hosted some 40 shows. He is currently the host of SBS's "Animal Farm," KBS's "Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend," SBS's "My Little Old Boy” and tvN's "Amazing Saturday.“
 
His latest appearance was in Netflix's "Risqué Business: Taiwan."
