Jungkook of boy band BTS will release his new track “3D” on Sept. 29, just two months after storming worldwide charts with his first single “Seven” last July.

“3D” will be an R&B track that expresses one's longing to be with the person they love but cannot be with, in the perspective of different dimensions, according to Jungkook's agency BigHit Music. It will feature U.S. rapper Jack Harlow.

Jungkook made a surprise announcement at the end of the “2023 Global Citizen Festival” concert held on Sunday, U.S. time, at New York's Central Park after performing some of his chart-toppers such as “Euphoria” (2018), “Still With You” (2020) and his most recent hit “Seven,” along with the featured artist Latto.

Ten seconds of “3D” were teased during the concert in a spoiler VCR video. The videos are also available on YouTube.

Jungkook was recently named on The Hollywood Reporter’s inaugural Platinum Player power list of 25 influential artists around the world, as the only K-pop singer alongside other global pop music icons such as Beyoncé, Drake and Taylor Swift.

The BTS singer topped charts in and outside of Korea with “Seven,” including No. 1 on the Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart.
