'Superstar K 3' singer Lim Kim to return with new album in December

Singer Lim Kim will come back with new music in December.

"Lim Kim is currently preparing for an album release, aiming for a release in December," the singer's agency New Entry told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Wednesday.

During her performance at the Grand Mint Festival 2023 Saturday, the singer told her fans that she is working on a new album, aiming for a December release.

Lim Kim, whose real name is Kim Yae-lim, first made her appearance in the industry through Mnet's 2011 audition program "Superstar K 3," making it to the top three contestants in the show.

She released her first solo album "A Voice" in 2013 and participated in soundtracks for shows, including tvN's 2013 drama "Reply 1994," 2015 KBS drama "Remember You" and most recently in the JTBC drama "King The Land" and Netflix series "A Time Called You."

"Yellow," the lead track from Lim Kim's 2019 EP "Generasian," recently featured in Mnet's hit dancing competition program "Street Women Fighter 2" as the track used by the dancing crew 1Million.
