Singer-songwriter Lim Kim to release new single 'Veil' next month

Singer-songwriter Lim Kim will return to the music scene with a new single next month.

Her agency New Entry announced the news through its social media on Thursday, revealing a teaser image for Kim’s digital single titled “Veil.”

In the photo, Kim is trapped inside a glass box. She is seen kneeling, with her left arm reaching upward into space.

“Please await in anticipation for what genre and theme Lim Kim would come up with, combined with her mystical voice,” the agency said.

“Veil” will be the artist’s first single with her new agency, which she signed with last December. It’s also her first song after a year-and-three-month hiatus since she released “Falling.”

The single will be released at 6 p.m. on Nov. 5 through music streaming services.

Lim Kim debuted through cable channel Mnet’s audition program “Superstar K3” as part of duo Togeworl in 2011 and released songs such as “All Right” (2013), “A Voice” (2013) and “Rain” (2013). Since the duo took a hiatus in 2013, Kim has been making music as a solo artist.
