Elementary school teacher arrested for inappropriately touching students

A teacher at an elementary school in Goyang, Gyeonggi, was arrested by the police on Wednesday for inappropriately touching his students.
Although the Gyeonggi Bukbu Provincial Police Agency did not disclose the identity of the teacher, the man in his 30s has been arrested for committing sexual harassment.
The students, who witnessed the teacher touching specific body parts of several classmates inappropriately since March, reported it to the school authorities.
Thus far, the police have identified five victims but have said there may be more as additional separate reports that have been filed.
The police will submit an official arrest warrant to detain the teacher for up to six months.
