Daniel Caesar cancels concert on Tuesday three hours before showtime
The singer was slated to perform at the Olympic Hall in Songpa District, southern Seoul, on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Daniel Caesar performance on Dec. 12 in Korea is canceled," the concert production company Live Nation announced just three hours before the concert was supposed to begin on its social media account.
"We apologize to the fans who have waited for the concert," it added. "We ask for your understanding."
"For reasons that cannot be disclosed, the rest of the superpowers tour (Asia) is canceled," the singer said in an Instagram story right after the announcement. "Refunds will be issued. My deepest apologies."
The Instagram story is currently unavailable.
All tickets will be automatically canceled, and full refunds will be issued, the production company said.
He was slated to hold two concerts on Monday and Tuesday, the singer's first time performing solo in Korea.
His Monday concert took place as planned.
