Park Bo-ram posthumous album to celebrate 10th anniversary of late singer's debut

Late singer Park Bo-ram’s posthumous 10th anniversary album will be released on Wednesday, her agency Xanadu Entertainment said Monday.

The album — titled “The Last Song” — will contain five previous songs by the late singer, remastered and rearranged. The tracks are “As Time Goes By” (2010), “When I look at you” (2022), “Will be fine” (2022), “You will shine” (2022) and “I hope.”

Originally by singer Choi Ho-seop, Park covered “As Time Goes By” on the 2010 second season of Mnet audition program “Superstar K.” Park rerecorded the song for her new album before she died of alcohol poisoning on April 11 at the age of 30.

Singer Huh Gak, Park’s fellow contestant on “Superstar K," will be featured on the song “I hope.” The song was released as a duet between the two singers in February. Veteran soul singer In Sooni is also featured on the track “You will shine,” which was released as a collaborative single in May 2022.

Park was 17 when she competed in “Superstar K,” ultimately finishing as a Top 7 finalist. She made her debut in August 2014 with her single “Beautiful,” which charted on multiple rankings that year.

Throughout her career, the singer released two EPs, "Celepretty" (2015) and "Orange Moon" (2017), as well as numerous singles, including her most recent track, "I Miss You," released on April 3.
