Actor and artist Ha Jung-woo is launching a limited-edition white wine called Call Me Later on Saturday together with Vino Paradise, the wine subsidiary of the Paradise Group. Ha, who has been holding solo exhibitions with his artworks since 2010, designed the wine label himself.

The label design for Call Me Later is a touched-up version of one of Ha’s works that was exhibited during his solo exhibition “Hit the Road” at Pyo Gallery in 2022. This colorful artwork featuring a horse was inspired by his trip to Morocco for a film shoot.

Ha has frequently expressed his love for wine, especially New Zealand’s Pinot Noir, in interviews and talk shows.

“Call Me Later reflects the experience of being so immersed in the moment of enjoying wine that one wishes not to be disturbed,” Ha said in a statement released through Paradise Group on Wednesday. “I hope to share this feeling with others as they enjoy the wine.”
Call Me Later will be sold through Seven Eleven stores nationwide starting Aug. 17.

Ha debuted as an actor in the 2002 SBS sitcom “Honest Living” and rose to prominence after his breakout role as a psychopathic serial killer in the 2008 film “The Chaser.” His films, including “The Yellow Sea” (2010), “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time” (2012), “Love Fiction” (2012), “The Berlin File” (2013), “The Terror Live” (2013) and “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” (2017) span numerous genres and have seen box office success. Ha also made his debut as a director with "Roller Coaster" in 2013.
