After spending nine years as Gfriend and two years as VIVIZ, singers Umji, Eunha and SinB believe they've formed quite a tight bond with their listeners. But some opinions that those fans, known as Na.V, expressed in a recent video interview still left them a bit perplexed.

Two of the members, for example, predicted that fans might choose SinB as the best compatriot on a deserted island. “SinB is the most skillful, and she’s really good at making things,” Eunha explained in a FanTalk 2 chat with the Korea JoongAng Daily and Celeb Confirmed. SinB, herself, added that she would “feel a bit upset” if Na.V chose a different companion.

Fans, however, overwhelmingly preferred Umji. “You are isolated and lonely on a deserted island, so I think our fans would’ve chosen me so that they could talk to me,” the member said after seeing the result. “You naturally get lonely if you are all by yourself, and I am the one who can make people really feel like they are with someone.”

“You can probably just live off by talking,” SinB agreed. “Maybe it’s like ‘Cast Away,’ where you draw a face on a volleyball and talk to the ball.”

Eunha was the only member who didn’t predict that fans would choose her.

“It’s not worth taking me to the deserted island,” she said. “I’d just rather be at home.”

FanTalk 2, the second season of Celeb Confirmed's FanTalk series, allows K-pop idols to guess how their fans would’ve answered questions about them.

Na.V shocked the members yet again by answering that they’d rather watch videos of VIVIZ drinking with together than watch videos of them working out in the gym.

“We've already had shows where we drank with each other, and fans have told us that they’d [like to] see us work out,” SinB said.

“Then again, I don’t think we were drunk in those videos — at least it didn’t seem like it,” Eunha said. “I think they want to see us tipsy.”

VIVIZ and its fans, however, did manage to agree on some questions. Na.V correctly predicted that the group preferred traveling without plans over following a strictly set route.

“That’s the fun of traveling, feeling new and unexpected things as you face them,” said Eunha, who famously travels by ear.

“I kind of want to go on a holiday where you decide on the destination by rolling a roulette,” SinB said.

VIVIZ members also received multiple video messages from Na.V from all around the world sharing support and love for the girl group.

One fan praised VIVIZ as “dynamic” artists, citing their ability to pull off multiple genres including pop, rock and R&B. The group’s most recent lead track, “Maniac,” saw the members going for an alternative-rock-based pop score.

“Every time we prepare a new album, we try our best to be different, so I’m glad our fans notice that,” SinB said.

“VIVIZ will continue to try out new and different genres in the future,” Eunha said.
