Girl group aespa’s Karina has been appointed the new brand ambassador for Italian luxury house Prada, her agency SM Entertainment said Thursday.

"I have always liked and frequently visited the Prada brand, so I am delighted to be working together as an ambassador,” said Karina. “"I will show you many diverse and great looks with Prada in the future, so please look forward to it."

Karina will be part of the Prada S/S 2025 Womenswear Show set to be held in Sept. 19 at Milan, Italy. The aespa member was previously invited to the Prada F/W 2024 Menswear Show, “Human Nature,” held in January in Milan.

This is Karina’s first time being selected as an ambassador for a fashion brand on her own. The aespa member was selected last year as an ambassador for YSL Beauty and Musinsa Beauty, the cosmetic lines for fashion brands Yves Saint Laurent SAS and Musinsa, respectively.

aespa kicked off its world tour, “Synk: Parallel Line,” in Seoul on June 29. The girl group is set to perform in a total of 14 regions across Asia and Australia, including Hong Kong; Taipei, Taiwan; Tokyo; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Sydney, Australia in August. In September, the group will perform in Melbourne, Australia; Macau; and Bangkok.
