Online comments accuse Blackpink's Lisa of lip-syncing during Global Citizen Festival set

Some online comments are calling out Blackpink's Lisa for lip-syncing during the 2024 Global Citizen Festival in New York on Saturday.

The artist performed her solo tracks "Lalisa" (2021), "Money" (2021) "Rockstar" and "New Woman." She also debuted her unreleased solo track "Moonlit Floor" during the festival, ahead of the song's official release on Friday.

Critical viewers online claim that Lisa relied too heavily on prerecorded tracks and sang only parts of the songs, despite her performances not being heavily choreographed.

Lisa was one of the headliners at the annual U.S. festival, alongside artists like Post Malone and Doja Cat.

This isn't the first time Lisa has faced accusations of lip-syncing as she was also criticized during the 2024 MTV Music Video Awards in September. She has not made any statements regarding the issue.
