U-Kiss

Boy band U-Kiss is off to a promising start in Japan as its new single and album have both come to reach top 10 spots on the Oricon’s daily singles and albums charts.

The single “Forbidden Love” and the band’s first Japanese album “A Shared Dream,” released simultaneously on Feb. 29, respectively reached ninth and sixth place on the daily singles and albums chart.

To mark the records’ launch, the band staged a concert event at Tokyo Dome City’s La Qua Garden Stage. During the special event the band sang the new song “Forbidden Love” and others for more than 2,000 fans.

The group will continue to make appearances around the country throughout the month as part of its “U-Kiss First Japan Live Tour 2012.”
The concert will kick off March 2 in Sapporo.
