Exo adds another concert date

K-pop boy group Exo added an extra concert date to its original lineup of two shows as a result of requests from fans, according to local media yesterday.

The concert, “Exo From Exo Planet #1 - The Lost Planet,” is now scheduled for three days during May 23 to 25 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in southeastern Seoul.

The events have especially attracted the attention of fans as they are Exo’s first solo concerts since the group’s debut.

The tickets for the original two concerts sold out as soon as ticket sales opened on April 16.

Meanwhile, the group released their new mini-album “Overdose” on Wednesday and achieved an “all kill,” reaching the top spot on the nation’s main music charts. Their music video received more than a million views on YouTube.

Exo-K, a Korean subunit of the group, made their first comeback yesterday at Mnet’s live music program “M Countdown.” The subunit’s Chinese counterpart Exo-M will unveil theirs on Saturday through Chinese broadcaster CCTV’s music program.
