Preorders begin for Blackpink's first full-length album
Girl group Blackpink began preorders for its upcoming full-length album on Friday afternoon, after dropping its collaboration with pop star Selena Gomez "Ice Cream" at 1 p.m.
Blackpink also revealed the name of its first album — "The Album."
This will be the first full-length album for the group since it debuted in 2016 and is highly anticipated by fans all over the world as its the group's biggest project yet.
The album will be released in four different package styles — in variations of black and pink — which will all contain photo books and postcards, but each will have different content.
The track list has not been unveiled yet, but the lead track will be "How You Like That," which was released earlier this year in June.
"Ice Cream," a collaboration with pop star Selena Gomez released this afternoon, will also be included on the album.
Blackpink dropped "Ice Cream" on Friday afternoon as its first collaboration with the singer, and a song to cool the summer heat with its bright dance pop sound.
Tracks contained on "The Album" will be released on Oct. 2, and the physical album will go on sale on Oct. 6.
