2020 Seoul Indie Music Festa to be be held Friday and Saturday
The 2020 Seoul Indie Music Festa will be held on Nov. 6 and 7, Friday and Saturday, giving indie fans and musicians a chance to get together for music and entertainment at Seoul Community Cultural Center Seogyo and the Rolling Hall in western Seoul.
Seoul Indie Music Festa has been held since 2017, as part of a joint effort by the Record Label Industry Association of Korea, Live Club Co-op and the Hong Uju Social Co-op and is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This year, the festa holds both a label market and a showcase stage.
The label market will have eight music labels — including MPMG, M.Y.music and Billy Bean Music — that will offer CD and other merchandise of their artists, while at the showcase, 18 teams of musicians will perform for 30 minutes each.
Friday's lineup will include OuiOui, Gift, Hajin and J-Tong, while Saturday's lineup will include Nine, Sogak Sogak, Jang Hee-won and Messgram.
Admission to all events is free. Friday's events began at 3 p.m. and Saturday's events will begin at 2 p.m. On-site staff will ensure Covid-19 guidelines are being adhered to.
