BTS’s latest single “Life Goes On” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, the entertainment media brand announced on its Twitter on Tuesday.
According to Billboard, “Life Goes On” is the first song that is sung predominantly in Korean to top the Hot 100 in the chart’s 62-year history.
“Life Goes On" is the lead track of BTS's latest EP "BE," which was released on Nov. 20.
It marks the group’s third consecutive No.1 placement on the Hot 100, following its English single “Dynamite," the remix of Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo's "Savage Love (Laxed-Siren Beat)” which had some Korean lyrics.
Among the septet’s songs released entirely in Korean, “On" reached the No. 4 spot on the chart earlier this year while "Boy With Luv" ranked eighth last year.
