Kakao Entertainment will provide its original content to SK Broadband’s platform, Btv.

As of Thursday, 26 works from Kakao TV, which has been producing and releasing its own original content from last September, will be made available on Btv, including drama series such as “Love Revolution,” “No, Thank You,” “How to Be Thirty” and variety content such as “ZZIN Kyung-kyu” and “Next Door to a Delicious Restaurant.”

A further 44 works — or all the web variety content and drama series produced by Kakao TV this year — will also be made available on the platform.

New content will first be released through KakaoTV and then distributed to Btv.

“We’re happy that more viewers can easily access our original content not only on mobile but through television as well through this partnership,” said Shin Jong-su, director of the digital media content department at Kakao M.

The entertainment company will continue to actively pursue and develop its original content and plans to produce a total of some 240 original works by 2023 with an investment of 300 billion won ($264 million).
