Boy band BTS’s second English-lyric song “Butter” topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the second week in a row, Billboard announced on Monday.

“Butter,” which dropped on May 21, is the band’s second song to rank at No. 1 in the first week and then also the next consecutive week, following “Dynamite” (2020). It is the 23rd song in Billboard chart history to accomplish this feat.

This marks the seventh time that BTS has topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.  “Dynamite” made it to the top spot three times, while “Life Goes On" (2020) and Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo's remix of "Savage Love (Laxed-Siren Beat)" (2020) both made it to number one once.

According to Billboard, “Butter” has been streamed 19.1 million times and downloaded 140,200 times during the week from May 28 to June 3.

While those numbers decreased by 41 percent and 42 percent, “Butter” saw a 24 percent increase in radio listeners, which contributed to its second week at No. 1.

For the second week in a row, "Butter" also topped the Billboard Global 200 chart, which keeps score in 200 countries.

Billboard analyzed that remix versions of “Butter” will help the song’s ranks on the charts next week as well. “Butter (Hotter Remix)” dropped on May 28, and “Butter (Cooler Remix)” and “Butter (Sweeter Remix)” on Friday.
