K-pop phenomenon BTS’s third English-lyric song “Permission to Dance” entered the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart at No. 1, according to Billboard on Monday.

빌보드는 케이팝 대스타 방탄소년단의 세번째 영어 곡 “퍼미션 투 댄스”가 빌보드 핫 100 차트에 1위에 진입했다고 월요일에 밝혔다.

Written in collaboration with British singer Ed Sheeran and released on July 9, “Permission to Dance” took the top spot from the band’s second English-lyric song “Butter.”

“Butter” had topped the chart for seven consecutive weeks before falling to No. 7 this week.

“Permission to Dance” is the band’s fifth song to top the chart in less than a year, following “Dynamite” (2020), "Savage Love (Laxed-Siren Beat)" (2020), “Life Goes On" (2020) and “Butter” (2021).
